Peter Wright

Medical Affairs Professional

Peter Wright joined Skysis in 2021 and is a Medical Affairs Professional based in Indianapolis, IN.  Peter works with clients to develop comprehensive medical strategies and tactics with key deliverables that include data dissemination and generation, scientific communications, education, and synthesis of insights. He provides medical insights to support the clinical development, HEOR, publications, marketing, sales, and regulatory functions to ensure that they are developing product and strategies that will be relevant to the market—patients, payors and physicians.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Skysis, Peter was a Senior Clinical Research Scientist, Global Medical Affairs at Eli Lilly working initially in post-launch activities in Neurosciences and most recently pre-launch activities in dermatology and immunology.  Prior to joining Lilly, Peter was a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and MSL Field Director in the cardiovascular and critical care space at AstraZeneca and LaJolla Pharmaceutical. A former physician assistant, Peter practiced emergency medicine for 14 years prior to transitioning his focus to industry.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

Peter earned his Doctor of Medical Science from University of Lynchburg, Lynchburg, VA. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management as well as a MPAS (Master Physician Assistant Studies) in Emergency Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a BS Physician Assistant from St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of NY, and a BS in Health Sciences Education from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN.
